#Novica Beautiful Treasures from Around the World

I am always on the lookout for unique and different products and if you have read my blog at all, then you know that handmade are my favorite products ever. Novica is a great website I found almost two years ago.

Their website allows artisans from all over the world to promote their work and offer customers that otherwise would never get to know their work, the opportunity to find the one- of- a- kind treasures that each artisan creates. Novica was founded about 10 years ago and has brought together artisan and clients from all over the world to meet on their website.

While searching on their website, I learned that Novica is actually associated with National Geographic….That alone caught my interest, and once I started to browse on their different products categories and learned about their work, I knew I found a great store and that I would certainly bookmark and add Novica to my favorites and did just that as Novica is a big favorite when looking for gifts.

For this review I want to introduce you to the work of one of the Novica Artisans Tiraphan Hasub. Her shop is actually located in Thailand and that is where her items ship from…Yes that is part of the beauty of Novica, you get these amazing products from all over the world! For this review I chose a set of two Calcite wristband bracelets, ‘Tribal Chic’ , part of their wide selection of handmade jewelry.

The bracelets that are beautifully made come in sets of two, the bracelets are crocheted and the pieces have sky blue calcite integrated in the design that make these bracelet not only unique, but also very attractive. The bracelet also features shiny brass beads; that embellish brown adjustable wristbands that fasten with rain tree wood beads.

These bracelets are a great accessory for every day looks and gives you a really one of the kind tribal look that is really trendy. I decided to stay on the tribal look and also picked the Tiraphan Hasub’s Tiger’s eye and jasper wristband bracelets, ‘Autumn’s Voice’ that also comes in a set of two and have a similar crochet design as the Calcite wristband bracelets…The Tiger’s eye and jasper wristband bracelets, are wider and have really astonishing earth colors beads combination. Jasper and tiger’s eye border shiny brass beads help to highlight the rich autumnal shades.

The bracelets feature a traditional brass bell that rings for luck and the design has a rain tree wood clasp to complete the tribal look! Booth sets have adjustable sizes and retail for $ 35.00 each. Now there is a brand new featured that has been integrated to Novica and has become an addiction for me!

This new feature gives everyone the chance to have a profound impact on artisans around the world. By curating artisan products into meaningful, beautiful collections, you are helping them to gain more exposure bringing them greater success in their craft….Fun with a cause! Curate collections of products, with the option to add mood shots from their ever increasing image library.

From November 12, 2012, the race is on to find Novica’s best curator; with a closing date of March 14, 2013…You have the chance to win a free trip to Machu Picchu!

Win it: Novica has kindly offered one lucky Born 2 Impress reader, the chance to win a free 50.00 gift certificate .
