I believe that a great percent of the world’s population is heading to a greener era where people are more conscious of the earth and trying to do little things to protect the environment. Wasting water is and always has been a pet peeve of mine, so I am always trying to save the precious liquid….A few weeks ago I came across a very interesting product called Sink Magic so I contacted them to see if they would let me do a review of their product. They sent me a free sample of the Sink Magic to try for this review. All opinions posted here are mine and by no means influenced by any other part. You can see my complete disclosure below.
So what is Sink Magic? A simple way to describe this product would be, the Sink Magic is a Portable Sink Water Diverter that will allow you to transform your sink in to a large basin with a drain diverter that prevents your water sink from overflowing, yet permits water replenishment. What this basically does is allow you to use your sink to do your dishes or in my case allows me to rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher without running water the whole time which translates to a big water saving.
I was a little concerned that the unit might not be able to hold the water for an extended period of time, so I tested to see how it would hold and to my surprise the water level did not go down at all after I had it filled for a few hours…I do use a lot of different cooking elements when I am in the kitchen and having the sink filled with water has proven to be very handy.
The Sink Magic is not only ecofriendly, but user friendly as it is super easy to install and uninstall. …One of my favorite things about this product is that it allows you to soak plates, pots and pans that have hard to remove food stains…Just dump them in the sink filled with water, go about your day or anything else you want to do and come back later for a lot easier to scrub pile of dishes.

I like that the Sink magic can be placed into the dishwasher as well to keep it clean and sanitized for the next time you need to use it

Sink Magic is heat resistant up 375 F degrees! It’s safe to with any residential and commercial hot water temperature. You’re right it’s dishwasher-safe!
I learned that this product uses segmental washing and can save me time. That’s great – we don’t have a dishwasher, I am the dishwasher!

Our water bill is big and a $17.50 increase to fund sewer renovation was just voted in and will begin next month. I like that I could save water and money with the SinkMagic.

Sink Magic device will not inhibit or stop the influx of bacterias going into your home! What it was designed to do is make your life easier, create convenience in your life, by shortening your dishwashing time and saving water in the process!
