When having a new baby, a lot of things come in to play. There are lots of preparations to receive the new bundle of joy and it is an emotional and exciting time for the parents and siblings. I was as excited and nervous with baby J as I was with the ladybug, but fortunately I had a better idea of what to expect even though you can’t really know how things are going to go…Like having kid number 2 on your daughter’s birthday, yes…he showed up on her birthday!
So one thing I learned with my daughter is that you want to have the baby’s clothes cleaned ahead of time because you never know when the little bundles will decide to make their appearance ( I was 3 weeks early with my daughter), so as soon as you hit the 7th month, start getting ready.
When I had my daughter I also learned which baby detergent to use…Someone recommended Dreft and from the moment I smelled the baby like, clean fragrance, I was hooked and did not use anything but with my daughter and of course with baby J.
A little tip and something I learned from baby J…Do not wash all the newborn clothes you get, and bring the next size up also in case the baby weights more than what you expect, this way you do not end up with a bunch of clothes that your baby can not wear and that you can’t return because you already washed them…
Dreft believes that for many moms and dads, doing baby’s laundry is more than just an ongoing chore – it serves as a way to pleasure in the amazing moments and stages of babyhood….I get a bit emotional every few months when I have to get my little one a new size in clothes…they grow up so fast!
I loved and used Dreft for the longest time with my daughter, but changed to another detergent when she got older, so I was really happy to learn, with baby number two, that Dreft offers a lot more than the newborn detergent.
Dreft introduced a line of laundry products that are specially designed for different stages of babyhood! And you can now find a stage 2 liquid detergent, Active Baby detergent, that like the Dreft Newborn is gentle and hypoallergenic on baby’s sensitive skin, plus it is tough on stains and has a baby fresh scent…Love that scent!
As the baby grow up, the stains evolve and you have a complete new range of stains to fight and I love the fact that Dreft took this into consideration with the stage 2 detergent, and are you ready for this? A Wash Scent Booster, the Dreft Blissfuls.

I have a 7 month old baby girl. She’s my 4th child. I use dreft to wash her clothes because her skin is very sensitive.
Oh, I think everyone knows the scent of Dreft. It’s just one of those scents you associate with babies, like baby lotion. We’ve used it for my niece & nephews who are way past infancy, lol, but my cousin just had a baby & loves Dreft. One tip I would give is be careful what products you use on infants; several new mothers that I know have seen allergic reactions in their babies due to well-known baby lotion/powders, etc. If you can use natural or organic products, it is worth it.
My friend just had another baby last week. She also has one that is less than a year old and then 2 (twins) that are less than 2 years old and then a 6 year old. I am trying to help her out. I know my grandbaby could use this but I know she could definitely use it more. At least this is her last baby! 😉
My son and his wife are expecting my very first grandchild, he will be here in June and we can hardly wait to meet him. His name will be Cameron and we already bought a couple boxes of Dreft, but I know we will need more. He already has a lot of clothes that need to be washed.
I used Drift with all four of my kids and now I use it for my granddaughter who is 5 months! My advice would be to take it all in they grow up so fast and don’t sweat the small stuff!
I have one daughter that is 13 months old and I use Dreft all of the time. My tip would be to take a lot of pictures and videos. I am so glad I did because the time has just passed so quickly.
I have three kids: 19, 17 and a 4 month old baby. I used Dreft on my other babies, it smelled so soft. My advice is to go easy on yourself as a parent, as you’re probably doing the best you can.
I’ve use Dreft over the years. It works great on polarfleece items. All my sheets and jackets are washed in this detergent. I also use Dreft for each of my children. And now my Granddaughter.
We’re expecting our first little one in about 2 months. We’re so excited and can’t wait to meet him! I’ve heard such wonderful things about how gentle Dreft is on baby’s sensitive skin.
I am currently expecting my first child in October 2016. We recently found out we are having a boy and we are so excited! I would love to win this to use with all the new baby clothes I will be purchasing.
I have a 6 year old and am expecting a new baby in August. Our family just started experiencing seasonal allergies when we moved to a new place. I haven’t tried Dreft before, but I’ve been noticing Dreft in the baby departments of the stores we’ve been shopping at for our upcoming baby. I love all kinds of pillows, but I especially love featherdown.
I have two children and recently had a baby. My best advice for a pregnant women would be to sleep when the baby sleeps and and enjoy every single stage with your baby. One of my daughter’s pediatrician recommended me Dreft since my babies have sensitive skin and I’m still using it. Thanks for the chance to win such an amazing giveaway.
My tip to new mom’s are to sleep when the baby sleeps. If someone offers help, take it! You don’t want to over work yourself. I have used dreft, and I love their products!
I would like to win this for a friend that is expecting 🙂
Thanks for the chance!
I had a baby back in January. It is my second child. I think my tip for moms is to try to take 5 minute breaks every so often to gather yourself with a few deep breaths. My favorite kind of pillow is memory foam. I have not yet tried Dreft.
I am not expecting. My best tip for a mom-to-be is to really research what baby products you need and what are just gimmicks. Also start a college fund as soon as you can, cause education costs keep going up.
I have two kids under two. 1 is about 8 months and one is a year and a half. I don’t know about the pillow thing. I love Dreft. I got it as a baby shower gift. I would tell new moms to give themselves some grace.
LOL. not expecting. I’m over 50. My daughter’s littlest is 8 months…her second. I have heard of Dreft and used it for my kids, and 3 of my 6 kids have little ones and have all used Dreft.
My tip would be to go easy on yourself and not be so worried if you are doing things right…each kid is different, even within the same family and THEY will let you know what they need. Dont stress about that.
My pillow? I am not sure on a brand but sure do wish I could find a rather medium or even low filled feather. Something organic.
Thanks!
I love a pillow that is soft and fluffy. I like it to be fresh and comfy. I have not used dreft yet but want to. Moms in the neighborhood love using it.
Well my adult age children are starting to have their own kids. My daughter used Dreft, just like I did when my 5 kids were young. It smells good and helps get the stains. out.
I am expecting baby numner 2 in just 4 weeks!! I have a beautiful 2 year old daughter who can’t wait to meet her brother 🙂 I used Dreft when I first had my daughter and plan to use again this go-around. I had no idea that they made a Stage 2 detergent though
Thank you for the chance!

I have 3 new grand babies. We use dreft to wash their clothes. I love dreft
I used Drift with all of my children when they were babies. I have a friend who just had a baby so I would give this prize to her if I won. My advice would be to sleep when your baby sleeps.
i am not expecting although we are trying. My youngest is almost 3 and i still use dreft on all his clothes. I have used dreft with all my kids.
I have tried Dreft products, but I would like to, I have heard wonderful things about Dreft. Thank you
We are currently expecting! Due Nov. 8th. We also have a 5 yr old and an almost 2 yr old. I left the way Dreft smells. I have bought it many times.
I’ve been using Dreft for a couple years, two of my girls suffer from eczema and I was told to use this particular detergent to wash their clothes. I keep buying Dreft and my daughters love their smell. Thanks for the chance to win such an amazing giveaway.
I am not expecting. My youngest is 2 and has incredibly sensitive skin. I have had 3 kids. I would recommend to just follow your own family needs and not focus on the trends. I have used Dreft and it smells amazing.
