We were very lucky this year and the ladybug has, not one, but two amazing teachers that made this school year an amazing year, not only for my daughter but also for her parents…They send email updates, share photos of the kids activities and are always within an email reach, so needless to say, we are very happy our daughter had the opportunity to work with these two amazing ladies!

Teacher appreciation week is just around the corner (May 2-6), and we want to show our favorite teachers, how much we appreciate all they do for our kids. I wanted to do something special for them, and I wanted my daughter to be able to help with the project, so we made them a little treasure /memory box!

For this project you will need:

– Memory box ( on sale at Michael’s right now for $2.00 each).

-Die Cuts (also on sale at Michael’s –Regularly $7.99 but they are 40% off now).

-Tissue Paper

-Glue/Hot Glue Gun

We bought (the daughter helped select) contrasting die cuts for the boxes, and placed the die cuts in a pattern on the top and side of the boxes. Then we added stones to the flowers for a little extra flair.

Add your kids grade and class year to the box, you can create a cute sign to match your box.

Use the tissue paper for the inside of the box and your kid’s photos and any other photos from school events inside the box along with anything else you want to put inside!
