I am a Tommee Tippee Brand Ambassador I often receive products for review. This is a compensated post on Behalf of Tommee Tippee .My opinions are 100% my own and not by any means influenced by any other part.

It is kind of funny how people feel compelled to offer tips and directions on how you should raise or how to do a certain thing with your kids…Things like feeding, sleeping, how long should your baby be in a play pen or well basically anything you can think of, friends and family are always more than happy to tell you the right way to do it…and that is especially true when it comes to older people… You have no idea how many times I’ve heard: “Well I raised three, so I know better” …Yes Mom, but the youngest of those 3 kids is now 39 years old and a thing or two have changed since then.
But if those well intentioned extraneous tips are not enough, there are tons of books telling you what to do every step of the way and let’s not forget the internet…While appreciated, I think I would be OK without it. Figuring out what to do with my kids, there is not a one rule works for everyone, after all, each baby is different and what have might worked for one person does not have to necessarily work for me.
I still think that it is funny how people think that offering their unsolicited knowledge is the right thing to do and they truly think they are helping the new parent to learn a thing or two…I remember being a bit overwhelmed when I had my daughter as she was my first child and I had so many people telling me what to do….Luckily I was able to figure out what to do without following 10 different directions from 10 different people ( yes, everybody has a better way to do something LOL). Don’t take me wrong, I do appreciate some of it, but my point is I can ask when I need advice.
As you might know I am a Tommee Tippee Mommee and I often get to feature some of their products and promotions. Well they have come up with the smartest and funniest idea of what to do with those unsolicited tips.

That’s so funny! I love it! It is so strange that from the day I was visibly pregnant, mpeople (random strangers even) told me a million things about my baby. There isn’t another aspect of my life where I received more unsolicited advice. We still get it from people- and our daughter is almost three! Now, I just have to make sure I’m not one of those people and so my best to just listen to new mamas.
It is really funny, isn’t it?
