As you all probably know, I want to get rid of a few more pounds and I have been having a hard time finding my way to the gym….There are many different exercise programs out there, and one in particular got my attention…Maybe because of the name, but 10 Minutes Trainer is an exercise program that I have been wanting to try for a while and to see how effective their 10 minutes exercise routines are. I mean can a 10 minutes work out really work your muscles?

I was really happy when I was offered the opportunity to try their exercise program and give it a test run myself. I was sent a package with Tony Horton’s 10 Minutes trainer that includes 2 DVD’s, a 2 day jump start, Tony Horton’s 10- Minute Meals booklet, Tony’s Rapid Results Guide book along with a tape measure and other tools like the resistance bands used on the program and a little guide on what exercise to do per day ,which I must add makes it easier as it eliminates all the guess work.

All my doubts about how effective a simple 10 minutes routine can be were eliminated the first day I played DVD 1 and could not do more than the 10 minutes of the first routine which actually works your whole body…I was seriously hurting all over when these 10 minutes of the routine were done and I was breaking a sweat by when the time was up.

The DVD’S are easy to follow and Tony does a great job engaging the person doing the routine. I must add he keeps it fun from beginning to end. I was able to increase my routine and add 10 more minutes each day and if you are like me and truly cannot complete more than the first 10 minutes of the program, do not get discouraged as you will be able to get used to the routine as you add different exercises to it and start building up your resistance.

You will see that they actually encourage you to take your before and after pictures, and honestly I would recommend this also as I would expect you will see results if you follow the steps of the recommended routines….One of the hardest obstacles you will probably encounter is to take the first step and start your exercise program and then follow the program and actually do the exercises…The great thing about the 10 minute incremental routines, is that you can set your speed and decide how much or how little time you want to invest on your routine, just keep in mind that the more you exercise the quicker you get the beach body you want!

Tony offers three different DVD programs starting with the basic which has a retail price of 79.90 and can be paid in two payments of 39.95, the Expanded for 117.90 ( or two payments of 58.95) and the Complete exercise program ( 159.80, or two payments of 79.90), you have add shipping to all these prices. Over all, I give the program two thumbs up!
