We decided to take a quick family trip to Disney World
Yes, right before school starts! What is one of the most important things when you are going on a trip? Safety for sure! I take my little bug’s safety very seriously and want to make sure that she is not only safe, but also comfortable, so I rely on the Safety 1st Advance SE 65 Air + Convertible Car Seat – St. Germain.
Born 2 Impress has teamed up with Safety 1st to make you part of #MySummerJourney and share this experience with you all!
I have an uncle that lives in Deltona which is about one hour away from Orlando, so we decided to leave the day before so we could visit and since we were staying in a hotel located at the Walt Disney World® Resort, we decided to use the extended hours so being there early in the morning was a great option.
We packed Friday morning, and left the home Friday late afternoon and started the fun trip to the land of magic and fairy tales!
One thing I learned early in motherhood is that if you are taking a trip with your kid, comfort and entertainment are keys to a good journey, so I made sure I packed enough things to keep the lady bug busy while we were on the road along with some snacks….Snacks are also very important!
After making sure everything we were going to need for the trip was in the car, we went to pick up my daughter at a friend’s house. It was rainy day, so I was extra happy to have my daughter buckled up in her brand new Safety 1st Advance SE 65 Air + Convertible Car Seat – St. Germain. We played around with the car seat to adjust it to the right height and left for Orlando.
My daughter is getting to that age where kids think they do not need a car seat, but I personally want to have her safe and secure in a car seat for as long as I can get away with it, so in order for her not to fuss about the car seat, it has to be very comfortable, and the Safety 1st Advance SE 65 Air + Convertible Car Seat passed the test with flying colors once we had the car seat set to fit her properly!
We made good time and got to my uncle’s home even though it was raining the whole way there by early evening
We spent some time with the family and went to bed so we could leave to Disney bright and early. We left Deltona early the next morning so we could do an early check-in at the hotel, and lucky us, the room was actually ready. So we left and spent a whole 13 hours at Disney….It was a lot of fun even though it was raining that day too and some attractions were closed.
My husband had a work emergency, so we had to cancel most of the Sunday plans (except for the character breakfast at the hotel), and then we headed home. The bug was very happy to see that the car seat has a cup holder…She has to have a cup holder!
Our ride back was really good, very little traffic, and great weather…Actually it was so good that the ladybug slept half of the time, which lets me know she was really comfortable in her Safety 1st Advance SE 65 Air + Convertible Car Seat as she hardly ever sleeps when we travel.
I am Very happy with the Safety 1st Advance SE 65 Air + Convertible Car Seat… and Love the 4-position recline for optimal fit to your car. The 10-position headrest grows with your child and of course, one of my favorite features is the Air Protect® advanced cushion system that protects your child’s head, where it’s needed most. In addition, the car seat features GCell HX™ patented foam with hexagonal shapes inside the seat that provides superior body protection …I have to say that this is one of the sturdiest car seats I have seen, and I am very impressed with the solid construction and how easy it is to use… My daughter gets in and out of the car seat by herself with no problem whatsoever.
The Safety 1st Advance SE 65 Air + Convertible Car Seat, can be used rear-facing for babies 5-40 pounds and then forward facing for kids 22- 65 pounds! My daughter is 53 pounds and 7 years old, so you can really use this for quite a while and get a good value for your money.

The S1 Trivecta – McKenna has maneuverability around corners, which is great for those on the run. There is also a large storage basket for all the junk! I also like that it holds children up to 50 lbs!
My brother just had a new baby boy! I would love to give him the SleekRide™ Premier Travel System – Sail Away. He does not have a lot of money so this would really help him out.
I love love the carseat you have shared here, but I also really like the Elite 80 Air + 3-in-1 Car Seat – Elian. We are trying and this would be such a blessing! I know we won’t be able to settle on just any carseat for safety concerns, and those carseat prices are insane! However, I love that the convertible seats seem to get you much more use with the expanding height/weight maximums.
I love the Stand onBoard tandem stroller. That would be perfect for my boys!
I like the Elite 80
I love the AdapTable High Chair in Eiffel Rose. Would go great with the colors I have in my house, as well! We went to St. Pete earlier this year to visit family, but it rained ALL week! Yuck 🙁 Would love to go back again before summer is over, but don’t think that’s going to happen, so I’m ready for fall!
we bought out son an Incognito™ Kid-Positioning Seat in the grey color this year. It worked well for about a week, but we had to return it because it was always slipping. We are planning on taking out kids to the beach for end of the year camping. We meet up with all of our family each year, and the kids have a blast!
I thought that the new store n go booster seat is interesting. One of my kids saw the one in the “Adventure” color and asked if they could have that one. I like that the Aerolite stroller holds up to 50 pounds. We have gone to the beach this summer.
I could use the Screen Door Saver for my kids and dogs. This summer we havent really gone anywhere since my kids go to year round school
I would like to try the Nod-A-Way® Bassinet – Fairlane. We went camping and canoeing this summer. The kids had lots of fun.
I’d like to get the Tandem Stroller ‘Stand onBoard” 🙂
This stroller would be perfect for my niece with her toddler and baby. My great niece went to Chicago to see the Little Mermaids play and loved it, over this summer.
I would like the SleekRide™ Premier Travel System – ABC Toile
I like their toys like the hoop and net set and the paisely pond pals. so cute.
We didn’t go anywhere this summer but we still had fun. My son went to camp and we had lots of fun get togethers with friends
I like the Screen door saver!! https://safety1st.djgusa.com/en/djgusa/safety1st/gates/screen-door-saver
oh my I wish we would have had one of these before our screen got walked through!
We did not go anywhere this summer, hopefully in the fall we can have a weekend trip!
They have SO many great products that I would love to try, but I think my favorite would have to be the Nod-A-Way Bassinet…it’s absolutely adorable, and it seems like they hit it on the nose when they said “it’s a dream come true for parents”! It sounds amazing. The music, sounds, vibrations, the peek-a-boo mesh window, canopy…it’s got everything you can imagine- it’s perfection.
As for summer, we didn’t really go anywhere too exciting this time around. This is the first summer we didn’t take the kids somewhere, and this is because I was SO (“SO” being an understatement) sick during this pregnancy. I just recently kicked my morning sickness (knock on wood!), but now school starts next week- so we have promised the kids that we will be going somewhere extra special next summer. The kids are very excited about having a new baby sister this November, so luckily they were very understanding when we broke the news that we weren’t going out of town on a trip like we normally would. We did however, go to a rodeo and a few fairs- they had a blast! I mean, who doesn’t love cows and cotton candy? Am I right? 🙂
I really like the cubikals down on the farm playset. We haven’t done very many fun things this summer, but next month we are going to my cousin’s wedding which will include camping and zip lining! Will be a great time!

I’m currently searching for the perfect infant car seat for my upcoming baby girl. Safety 1st seems like the perfect company to go with and I like the onboard 35 Infant Car Seat in ‘Flutter’, especially since we are going with butterflies as her overall theme for her nursery, etc. I like that it has additional leg room because I already know this baby has long legs and will be tall like her father and I. Rear-facing for as long as possible is also very important! Long work weeks and extremely hot days have kept us busy and inside so we haven’t done much this summer besides walks in the park and a trip to watch the sunset but we’re looking forward to family road trips and vacations in the future! 🙂
The onBoard™35 Air+ Infant Car Seat is an amazing car seat! I own and love the onBoard 35!
Stay tuned for a review and giveaway that is coming soon:)
