I received an UNICEF Market Bracelet in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
Did you know UNICEF has an awesome online store? This website is a gateway for artisans from all over the world to have access to ways to promote their work and put them in contact with customers like you and me on the other side of the world. It allows people looking for unique gifts and jewelry pieces among many more hand crafted items, to have access to a really amazing catalog.
Without this great website, I would have probably never learned about these artisans and their astonishing pieces that are truly one – of- a- kind treasures.
The UNICEF Market store includes a marvelous selection of unique gifts, jewelry, handcrafted rugs, bases, hang bags and many more beautifully made products that are shipped to your front door directly from the countries where the artisans are located.

I am obsessed with these cushions!
Each order arrives with a note written by the artisan in their own language with the English translation so you can actually understand and appreciate what the artisans are saying. I love this detail that allows me to connect with these artisans in a more personal level and make the experience even more memorable.
I personally like jewelry pieces that are not mass produced and that have that special je ne sais quoi that only handcrafted items have.
One feature this website has and that I absolutely love, is the capability of creating Curation board on the UNICEF Market (very similar to a Pinterest board), that allows me to keep all my great finds and favorites in different boards that I can easily create and add items to!
This is great, because I have been obsessed with leather jewelry and have had lots of fun finding pieces to add to my board. Then I can buy my favorites at some point in the future. Among my favorites are the Sterling Silver and Brown Leather Bracelet from Thailand, Forever Entwined , a piece by Thailand artisan Sarote Lochotinunt.
The Forever Entwined bracelet, features a delicate hand knotted brown leather bracelet with a brushed sterling silver love knot pendant representing the sign for infinity. The bracelet is beautifully crafted and the artisan shows great craftsmanship and attention to details on this piece that makes a great everyday bracelet that can complement many different clothing styles.
The lightweight bracelet has a Lobster claw clasp and it is about 7.5″ L, 5 mm wide and the pendant is about 1.4″ L x 0.4″ W.
I received the bracelet really quickly, especially if we consider where it is coming from and shipping was just a few dollars. The bracelet arrived with a cute printed pouch and a note from the artisan which as I said gives this piece an even more unique touch.
Like his fellow artisans, Sarote has a unique selection of jewelry and any time you look at one of his pieces, they show you more of his collection so you can easily pair the different pieces in the catalog!
