The space in a travel bag is what I like to call prime real estate and I want to make sure that I carry with me the most essential products to make my travels as smooth as possible and there is a series of products that I make sure to pack with me whenever I am hitting the road!

Travel Bag Summer Essentials

The proper hair brush

Because I cannot carry with me a full collection of hair brushes, I want to make sure that the hair brush I pack in my travel bag is the correct one and I have been using the Conair Quick Blow-Dry Pro Vent Brush for this Ohio trip and I am really happy that I made this choice when packing!

Conair Quick Blow-Dry Pro Vent Brush

The unique Conair Quick Blow Dry Pro Vent has Brush Vents designed to let the airflow from my hair dryer to reach my hair faster and therefor the hair drying process is faster and hassle free. I get amazing results in a fraction of the time and who wants to spend an hour drying their hair when they are on the go? Not me, that is for sure!

Get the hair out of the way

If you were part of my family and friends circle, then you would probably know I always have a ponytail holder around my wrist for whenever it is needed and of course it is one of the first items I place in my travel bag specially during the hot summer days!

Scünci Heathered Knotted Ponytailers

I have just started using the Scünci Heathered Knotted Ponytailers and love the softness and comfort they provide, plus they have no metal pieces that can mess up my hair.

A good cleanser is a must

One other item I consider essential in my travel bag, is a good cleanser like the DDF Advanced Micro-Exfoliation Cleanser.

DDF Advanced Micro-Exfoliation Cleanser

Keeping the skin in optimal condition is really important and removing the dead skin cells is vital for skin health… When summer would come around we would use different sun screens and products to protect ourselves from UV rays which is great, but some of these products would linger on the skin surface and a cleanser would be needed to help remove residues and prevent irritation.

This particular cleanser is very hydrating and has a creamy feeling that is pleasant and gentle feeling on the skin improving the skin hydration… When using this, my skin feels amazing after each use and the feeling lasts a few hours.

No bad hair days when I travel

Because we do not have all the tools that we might have access to when we are at home, we need to make the most of what we have in our travel bag and a good conditioner is a very smart idea!

What do I want in my conditioner? Well, for one, I want it to be lightweight so it doesn’t weigh down my hair, especially if I am traveling to humid places that can take a number on my hair!

Philip B. Deep Conditioner

I found that the Philip B. Lightweight, deep conditioner works wonders for me and since it is loaded with plant and flower extracts,  this conditioner does a great job taming frizz,  and sealing split ends, and it leaves me with silky and tangle free hair.

This conditioner is a great ally year around and an absolute must have when traveling when you want to keep your hair looking great with the minimum effort.

Love the flowery scent I am left with and certainly love the fact that this conditioner is color & keratin-treatment safe!

My makeup companion

One item that I cannot do without and it is probably one of the first items in my travel bag, is the Makeup Drop and if you have not heard of it before, you are missing out!

The makeup drop is a silicone makeup applicator that was specially designed to eliminate the waste of makeup and skincare.

Most sponge applicators soak up huge amounts of makeup during the application, but this innovative applicator allows you to apply and blend your foundation, blush, highlighter, concealer, moisturizer, and primer, wait for it….without absorbing one drop!

As a result, you save about half of the product you would use with a traditional applicator.
These are some of my travel essentials, what do you like to bring with you when you are going away from home?
